Gameboy’s timeline: For all you nerds out there

Posted By: Tommy Comet on April 24th, 2009

Dear Gamers,

How many people woke up today and thought, you know what would be fun: Reading about the history of the Game-Boy from company’s conception to the Nintendo Dsi? I sure didn’t. In truth, I only glanced this picture myself. I didn’t read it. Since it’s a slow news day I figured I post it. Click on the horribly resized picture to see the full thing in all it’s glory.

Tommy Comet swims in an Endless Ocean Review

Posted By: Tommy Comet on April 23rd, 2009

Dear Gamers,

Today I sat down to review the game Endless Ocean. It’s a very soothing and introspective experience. I can’t believe I blew 50 bucks buying this piece of shit. Oh, and while I was doing the review my phone rang. I didn’t edit this out or redo my review. I do one take and hit submit. Enjoy fan(s).

Dear Gamers,

I ran out of money. I need to sell a kidney before I can go out and buy a couple of more games. While I’m shopping my body parts around on the black market, I thought I’d send this gem of a video to my reader(s?). Great tribute video to one of the greatest video games of all time.

Source can be found if you go here

I’ll probably have a new review sometime before the weekend.

Tommy Comet Unleashes The Force

Posted By: Tommy Comet on April 18th, 2009

I love the force. I feel like the force is with me all the time, and that I always have to use it. Sometimes when I go to parties nobody will talk to me, but I always find a way to force myself into a conversation with girls. Sometimes when my older brother locks me out of the house I find myself forcing the door or window open. If I train long enough, I think I will be able to force people to like me. With that said, here is my Force, The : Unleashed review.

T.C. Was on Vacation

Posted By: Tommy Comet on April 17th, 2009

Lets face it, running a high caliber blog such as this can be hard work. Even though Blazergamer.com had only been officially running for a less then a week, I still felt I deserved a much-needed vacation from the stresses of the real world. I decided to totally unplug. I went on an excellent five day-four night cruise through the Bahamas on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. It was a wonderful time.

One would think that a superior skilled gamer like myself would go through withdraw from not having the Internet or a video game system at my fingertips. I actually enjoyed it very much. Despite that, I am glad to finally be back home and ready to review all kinds of new games. Below I thought I’d post some of the pictures from my trip for all of my fan(s) to see.

CoCoCay

This is the lovely CoCoCay, one of the private islands we stopped at.

100_1557This is me (Tommy Comet AKA BLaZer) @ CoCoCay just soaking in the sun and catching up on some pocket Tetris

100_15591Another Action Shot! I think I hit level 9 in Tetris here. (Real Fast blocks moving down, can barely see them)

100_1562Me, Soaking up some water. Crystal clear! No waves either.

100_1560Wide shot. Really beautiful, wish you could’a seen my score!!

100_1647Key West. Back on US soil I found I could download Classic Sonic. Here’s me just starting out.

100_1602Middle of some Square in Key West. Made it to the Jungle/Ruins levels all on my first set of lives.

100_1603Started getting real intense. PS: Key West gets frggin hot.

100_1648Found some Shade and totally skooled that game. Blazed RIGHT through it. Took me all day but it was 100% worth it. Overall a great trip. I would recommend it to anyone.

War is Hard. Call of Duty: WAW Review

Posted By: Tommy Comet on April 11th, 2009

In real life war probably sucks. Thank god for video games, particularly Call of Duty: World At War. Activision has crafted a game that gives you the best parts of war and the ability to enjoy them all from the comfort of your own home. Nestled safely in my gaming chair, I hunted down all kinds of Nazi’s and Italians, and whoever else was in World War II. I effectively operated an arrange of guns, tanks, and grenades that-in real life- I wouldn’t even know where the on button is located.

On the downside, like real life war, this game was ridiculously hard. You die every other minute and have to restart. In real war, you don’t even get the three standard lives, just one. Playing Call of Duty has really opened my eyes to what the soldiers in our armed forces have to go through. In a way, they are master gamers for fighting in war and not dieing, not even once. How many people can say that about playing Call of Duty? I can’t.

My super kick ass video review is below:

Blog News:

-I’ve added a comments feed on the right side of the screen. However since I don’t think I’ve had any visitors, not even one, the comment section remains blank.

-I’ve added a ‘news feed’ for Nintendo, so at least something on my Blog is actually legitimate.

WiiSports, The Review

Posted By: Tommy Comet on April 10th, 2009

Greetings Fan(s),

Today was such a nice day outside that I thought, “What better way to take advantage of this great weather than by indulging myself in some WiiSports?” The sunshine through the window- combined with the awesome visuals of the HD plasma TV- really helped me break an intense sweat.

After playing on the Wii for about an hour I am now confident in my ability to maybe one day go play sports down at the fields with some real people. Also of note, after standing for a while and going through the required motions I eventually realized you can sit in your seat and play the sports games by just slightly waving the Wii Remote. This allowed for longer game-play without getting fatigued.

Lastly, I’d like to give a shout out to RedBull for giving me the energy to play sports and conduct my commentary at the same time. What a liquid miracle. – T.C. Aka Blazer

Introducing me, Tommy Comet (AKA BLAZER)

Posted By: Tommy Comet on April 9th, 2009

Greetings everyone, I am Tommy Comet, AKA Blazer, the newest and hottest video game review critic on the gaming scene. I am called Blazer from my friend(s) because I am known to BLAZE through just about any video game.

After a whole week of trying, I finally managed to put my first video game review together. I am sure you are wondering, ‘Hey Tommy Comet AKA Blazer, what is the first video game you are going to review?’ Well the answer to THAT question is obvious to any true gamer: Super Nintendo Wii’s Super Mario Galaxy. Why did I choose Mario Galaxy? Not because other websites gave it a 10 out of 10 rating, but because it’s a staple of classic video gaming.

A new Mario game gives even the straightest heterosexual male (like myself) a huge boner. I was practically born to rescue princesses and kill dinosaur mushroom things. Gold coins, special raccoon fury suits, metal Mario, it’s all one big drug you can inject into my face, I love it so much.

I know what you are thinking, ‘Hey isn’t Mario Galaxy about 3 years old now?” Yes, but since I just got the Wii for Christmas it is new to me. Also, I don’t have any money. Mario is practically the only game I own right now.

Things that only a dip-shit would point out in the comments sections

-The video quality is bad

-The sound quality it is a little bad

I know this already. This is my very first attempt at a video, ever. The fact that I got my TV screen onto my computer screen and was then able to put my voice in there is an accomplishment that no mortal can understand. Below is my kick ass review.
